Brian Winges founded Community Living Partnerships and Comforts of Home Senior Housing and Services in 1999. Prior to that, Brian was a financial strategist, futures and options trader, and mortgage-backed securities specialist with Smith Barney, Prudential Bache, and Paine-Webber for more than 13 years.

Brian was instrumental in starting Amerihealth, a Medicare-certified, Class A licensed, home health care provider. Amerihealth has since been folded into the Comforts of Home array of services provided to senior clients. Brian has developed, financed, and owned many adult special-needs communities, including adult foster care, senior living, and sober housing facilities, such as the Serenity Crossings adult recovery homes. Brian formed Community Living Partnerships to assist others in successfully providing services to the burgeoning senior housing market place.

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison where he studied economics and real estate.

David Ficek, Ficek Investment Company, is one of the premier office condo developers in Minnesota. On the cutting edge of this trend, David developed and has owned multiple properties since 1996. He is currently developing properties across the Midwest as well as co-developing the Comforts of Home and Serenity Crossings facilities.

David holds a Minnesota Real Estate Brokers license and brings more than 20 years of development experience to Community Living Partnerships Development Services. David provides support in identifying, acquiring, and financing of projects for CLP.

Prior to Comforts of Home, Janelle’s position was Financial Analyst with Urologix, Inc., a publicly held, medical device company. Janelle spent nine years there in various financial positions. She has extensive experience in financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting and implementing financial controls.

Janelle has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Gigi Chollett brings more than 30 years of experience in the senior care industry to Comforts of Home. Prior to joining COH, she held positions with Crest View Corporation on its senior management team as housing administrator, human resources manager, and director of dining services, and with The Wilder Foundation as a food service director for their long-term care. Gigi has directly managed independent senior housing, subsidized senior housing, and assisted living housing.

Gigi provides operational and human resources leadership and managerial support and regulatory compliance for home health care licensure. She acts in a consulting capacity for senior housing and assisted living development providing operational efficiency expertise.

Gigi holds a Housing with Services Manager Certificate from Minnesota Health and Housing Alliance and is a certified dietary manager. She has attended numerous courses in human resources management at St. Thomas University.
